Art is encouraged at all levels in the School. The well-equipped Art Department gives pupils of all ages opportunities to explore the different disciplines and express their creative talents to the full. A broad-based visual education is encouraged in Art and pupils move between drawing, painting and printmaking into pottery and three-dimensional work, fabric printing, silk painting and fine art textile design. Art is a form subject and exhibitions of pupils’ work are held regularly. There are dark room facilities for GCSE and AS/A2 level students studying photography.
