Drama activities aim to build pupils' confidence as well as giving them a technical grounding
in acting and communication. There are at least two school productions each year and parents and
friends are welcome to attend. Pupils of all ages are encouraged to participate

The Wind In The Willows

An eccentric menagerie of woodland creatures gathered for our production of ‘Wind In The Willows.’
Led by Fletcher Dobinson as the boastful Mr Toad, Timmy Jim as the stern Badger, Luke Tayler as the dapper Ratty and Will Trafford as the timid Mole, the cast of twenty-five cut a dash with a delightful rendition of ‘The Sun Has Got It’s Hat On,’ before dealing with the dastardly threats of the evil Mr Weasel, played by Tom Wheeler.

Although the show had originally
been planned as a summer open-
air production, bad weather
prompted us to re-locate the
Woods to the Drama Studio. With
plenty of camouflage netting and
a miniature Toad Hall, we were
transported to the riverbank,
where the audience could even
dip their toes into the rippling
water!
