After a successful cricket season, where he was named Batsman of the Year for Devon Under 15s with 400 runs and reaching the National Final, losing to Middlesex by 2 runs, Bramdean pupil Alex Brown has switched his cricket bat for a rugby ball and has represented Devon Under 16s rugby squad this season, playing in all four county matches against Cornwall, Bristol, Gloucester and Somerset, and scoring three tries in total. The side performed very well, winning three of the four matches, losing only to Somerset (17-15) in a closely fought last game.
Alex has been selected to attend an Elite Performer Programme and has been invited to a development day for potential South West Squad players.
