Family Fun Afternoon

The weather was glorious for our Family Fun Afternoon on Wednesday 3rd July.

We were very fortunate to have the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service bring along a Fire Engine. We also had stalls, games, bouncy castle, inflatable assault course, beat the goalie, tea, coffee and cakes, ice cream and sweets, hunt the treasure and much more.

The face painting was very popular with a long queue of eager boys and girls waiting to be turned into butterflies and monsters!

The inflatable assault course was also a big hit!

Special thanks have to go to Oliver Broome, Benoit Davison and Danny Carroll for entertaining us with their superb musical talent.

The Kindergarten children used up some of their boundless energy on the bouncy castle!

Thank you so much to those parents who kindly donated items.  We had so many beautiful and delicious cakes, lots of Bric-a-Brac and a particular favourite with the thirsty pupils and parents alike, Mr and Mrs Butterfield's delicious apple drinks!

It was a wonderful afternoon.  Thank you so much to everyone who attended and made it such a special time.  We were also able to make a donation of £200 to the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service from the profit made.

Many thanks to parents Mr Butterfield, Mrs Altenburger and Mrs Mathers for their kind help on the day.
